Touhoucon WIP: Keine Kamishirasawa

This is part of a series of WIPs that I intend to finish before Touhoucon in September. These WIPs are notably NOT DONE -- meaning areas that look completely unshaded etc. are that way FOR A REASON. I don't like getting all the way to finishing touches only to have someone tell me to overhaul something, so I'm putting them up online early.

Please give me advice on the picture, but I request that you advise in such a way that I don't have to change the picture completely. These pictures are becoming prints, regardless of mistakes, and I would rather they be the best they can be at this point.

For this work in particular, I would like advice making the hand look like it's lying on a mirror. The strange hand angle is due to the fact that Keine is actually looking into a mirror. Also, how's the lighting? I believe the reflection of the moon in a mirror would act like a point source, with the moon seeming to be in front of Keine's face, despite actually being behind her. How is the wood and wood grain?

For those of you who is wondering what is going on, there are two versions of hakutaku in legend. One is leonine, the other bovine. Both are valid. I prefer the former.
