...I keep getting messages every few weeks or so that someone has favorited something of mien. While this is really awesome, I keep wondering what they're all smoking. Many of them lately are tagging old, terrible stuff like my old portrait of Alcoraiden (granted, stars are hard to shade) and even occasionally Raiden Brothers (no excuse other than I sucked at Photoshop back then).
What these people are smoking is a mystery. Of course I have no problem -- it's great if they like it -- but I sometimes laugh to myself and wonder if they've seen any of my better stuff. Just because I find it hard to imagine what they like about Raiden Brothers as opposed to, say, Destruction. (Granted, the background there is made of phail.) Oh well. Yay favs!
Original Character meme time.
1. Nagare "Nagarov" Rovune
2. Enjou Dokusei
3. Abikari Hagane (the Kirby-verse one)
4. Nerath Kasel
5. Alcor Polaris
Who/What are you?
1. Nagarov: The species name given to me by the humans is Menoviria magnum. Large thinking virus. Although, I'm not truly a virus; I'm a sentient cell aggregate resembling a bacterium. I can take any form I choose, although my cell structure remains the same.
2. Enjou: I'm a Viral Entity in the Digital World. I am second in command of the Cocytus stronghold.
3. Abikari: I'm a Valkyrie-series demon beast. I look like a human with wings and silver eyes, but that's just an illusion. I guarded the gate to the Meta Factory until -- [message ended]
4. Nerath: A pirate. A badass pirate. So get the hell out of my way. My crew eats ships like yours for breakfast. (Might be an improvement over our food on the station.)
5. Alcor: The Pyrene emperor. I am not a mutant human.
Do you have any brothers or sisters?
1. Nagarov: No. I'm the only one of my kind. Unless you count the personalities in my mind, well, then, I have many siblings.
2. Enjou: Yeah, I had a little sister -- at some point long ago.
3. Abikari: I have hundreds. They're all clones of me.
4. Nerath: I probably have dozens of half-siblings. We just farm out our genes, really, to the scientists who then put us together in tanks. It's easier than pregnancy, really. We're raised by community.
5. Alcor: No.
What's your height?
1. Nagarov: Whatever I want. In human form, generally 6'1". In animal form, it depends on how high I raise my head, but at the shoulder I'm 20'.
2. Enjou: 5'6". I don't need height to be dangerous.
3. Abikari: 5'8". I'm on the tall side. Taller than my commander, at least.
4. Nerath: 5'10".
5. Alcor: 8'0" in human units.
How old are you?
1. Nagarov: Old. The last time I counted, I was 8,726,341 years old in Earth years.
2. Enjou: In theory, only 23. But I've forgotten much since then, including my birthday and how long I've been an Entity.
3. Abikari: 24.
4. Nerath: 21.
5. Alcor: 32 in Earth years.
What's your favorite food?
1. Nagarov: You.
2. Enjou: I don't eat.
3. Abikari: Roasted fish with herbs.
4. Nerath: Anything with meat. I prefer steak, rare.
5. Alcor: You wouldn't recognize it. For human foods...I do have a strange liking of chocolate.
Have you ever killed anyone?
1. Nagarov: They're not dead. They still live in my mind and cell structures. But if you insist upon 'death' meaning removal from your current body, I suppose you could say I've 'killed' millions.
2. Enjou: I don't bother to count. Many Digimon, mostly.
3. Abikari: Not too many sentients. Mostly lesser demon beasts.
4. Nerath: Yeah. Mostly in ship battles, sometimes hand-to-hand.
5. Alcor: I waged war on my homeworld. That says enough.
(me: Why do I really like making my characters kill people?)
Do you hate anyone?
1. Nagarov: I suppose I hate Lir, but hate itself is a useless emotion.
2. Enjou: No.
3. Abikari: Meta Knight. And Nightmare, but who doesn't?
4. Nerath: Turan. With every bit of my soul.
5. Alcor: My father, for exiling me.
Do you love anyone?
1. Nagarov: Love?
2. Enjou: No.
3. Abikari: No.
4. Nerath: Hell no.
5. Alcor: I have better things to do.
What is your job?
1. Nagarov: I do whatever I want. I generally relegate my daily tasks to finding more food, building new ships, and hunting down those that hunt me. Or I go downside and chat with the locals. Seriously. Humans are interesting as well as tasty.
2. Enjou: I deal with the troop placement and most daily matters for Cocytus, the northern ice stronghold.
3. Abikari: I fight Nightmare and watch over Dyna Blade's chick while she hunts.
4. Nerath: I steal other people's ships. ...What?
5. Alcor: I rule an empire of several billion.
What do you do to relax?
1. Nagarov: I work on a particularly challenging math problem, or I play computer games. I can have games on multiple servers at once, simultaneously, and I don't need to sleep!
2. Enjou: I meditate and fly around in my airship.
3. Abikari: I dance. ...What?
4. Nerath: I work out, or I just laze around with my friends. I don't have much free time.
5. Alcor: I build complicated machines or do chemistry experiments.
There's a person who's teasing you; what could you do?
1. Nagarov: I wouldn't mind, but if I did, I could disassemble his body.
2. Enjou: Ignore him. Alternative, infect him with a slow, debilitating digital virus that would slowly kill him. Either one.
3. Abikari: Skewer him on my halberd.
4. Nerath: Squash his head with my bare hands.
5. Alcor: I have more weapons than you want to hear about, I'm sure.
What kind of powers do you have?
1. Nagarov: I can infect organic and metallic matter and twist it to my will. I do this by shooting beams or simply touching it.
2. Enjou: I can manipulate digital matter and energy and infect humans/Digimon with viruses that can do any number of things to them.
3. Abikari: I'm a lightning element. Not only can I fry your butt six ways from Tuesday, I can change your polarity so you stick to anything, and when it jerks back, you electrify yourself.
4. Nerath: Special powers? Does using a really big gun and flying Better Than You count?
5. Alcor: I can see infrared, and my armor gives me what humans would consider super-strength.
Are you afraid of dying/leaving the world?
1. Nagarov: ...Yes. Quite. I'm technically immortal, but not invulnerable...
2. Enjou: No. I don't care. We all die one day, 99% of us not in a 'natural,' data-decays fashion.
3. Abikari: Yeah, but I'm more afraid of the suffering beforehand than death itself.
4. Nerath: No. I stick my neck out every day. Sooner or later it'll get chopped off. I'd do it myself if it meant me not getting caught by Nagarov up there.
5. Alcor: I don't want to die, but I'm not afraid of it.
